Oncology medicine sourcing support for Gulf institutions

For hospitals, oncology centres, clinics and licensed importers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. We locate and procure specific medicines through licensed pharmacies in Türkiye and hand them over in person; every market below has its own import route and its own competent authority, which is the buyer's responsibility to satisfy.

As a sourcing service working into the Gulf, the constraint that matters is not logistics — it is that each authority has a defined route for an unregistered product, and sourcing that does not follow it is not lawful supply.

Named-patient procurement for the Gulf

Where an oncology product holds no local registration, the recognised route is patient-specific: the treating physician requests it for one identified patient, and the institution or its appointed importer obtains the authorisation the national authority requires.

Our role is to locate and procure the specific pack from a licensed pharmacy in Türkiye against that prescription, and hand it over in person to the institution's representative or courier once the destination-country authorisation is in place. The clinical decision, the prescription and the local authorisation remain with the treating institution throughout.

Competent authority by market

United Arab Emirates: Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), with Emirate-level health authorities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Prescription-medicine advertising to the public is prohibited under Federal Decree-Law 38/2024.
Saudi Arabia: Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). A pharmaceutical distributor in Saudi Arabia must hold SFDA establishment licensing for the activity it performs.
Qatar: Ministry of Public Health, Pharmacy and Drug Control Department.
Kuwait: Ministry of Health, Drug and Food Control Administration.
Bahrain: National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).
Oman: Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control.

Import procedures are set by each authority and change. We link to the authority; we do not restate its procedure, because a restated procedure goes out of date and a buyer may rely on it.

What is available at handover

Pharmacy invoice: The dispensing pharmacy in Türkiye issues the invoice for the medicine it dispenses, itemised by product, presentation, pack size and quantity.
Batch number and expiry per pack: Printed on the carton of every pack handed over, checked against the pharmacy invoice at handover, not taken from a generic product record.
İTS karekod on the pack: Turkish packs carry an İTS karekod printed on the pack, encoding GTIN, serial number, batch and expiry. The buyer verifies the karekod, batch and expiry physically against the pharmacy invoice at the point of handover.
Certificate of Analysis: Requested from the dispensing pharmacy where the manufacturer releases a Certificate of Analysis for the batch. It is never promised in advance; where the manufacturer does not release it to a pharmacy or sourcing party, that is stated before anything is procured.
Temperature record for cold-chain medicines: For 2–8 °C products, the medicine travels accompanied in a qualified cold box for the duration of the journey, with a calibrated data logger inside. The logger record is shown to the buyer at handover.
In-person handover record: Pharmacy Remedy hands the medicine to the buyer or their named representative in person, and records who received it and when. There is no courier consignment note and no proof-of-delivery document issued by a third-party carrier.

What we do not do

No prices are published, in any language, on any page of this site.
No sourcing is arranged for private individuals without a prescription, and no medicine is handed over without the authorisation the destination market requires.
No products of Iranian origin are sourced for any Gulf market.
No hormone or endocrinology lines are sourced for Gulf markets.
We do not ship, consign or courier medicines to the Gulf ourselves, and we hold no GDP certificate or wholesale licence.

A valid prescription is required. Medicines are sourced through licensed Türkiye pharmacy channels; the licence belongs to those channels, not to Pharmacy Remedy.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply oncology medicines to hospitals in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

We procure the medicine through a licensed pharmacy in Türkiye and hand it over in person once the institution or its appointed importer holds the authorisation each authority requires — MoHAP and the Emirate-level authorities in the UAE, the SFDA in Saudi Arabia.

Can you procure a product that is not registered locally?

Only through the patient-specific route the national authority provides, against a prescription for an identified patient and the authorisation that authority issues for the case. We procure the pack and hand it over in person; the authorisation itself is the institution's responsibility.

What can we verify when the medicine is handed over?

The pharmacy invoice, the İTS karekod, batch and expiry printed on the pack, and for 2–8 °C products the data-logger record from the accompanied cold box — checked in person at the point of handover.
